It would be interesting to hear the history of a cup like this, I can only tell you that I found it in an antiques shop on Folkungagatan here in Stockholm. It was like a beautiful old woman, calmly standing on a shelf - all alone.
The pattern is screen printed with ceramic colours and fired into the porcelain ware. Because of the gold details handwash is recommended.
